Karly turns 5!!

This year we are doing family birthdays and allowing the kids to invite 1 friend to their party. Karly chose to invite Brooke and Mady and we let her pick 2 because we were going out of town on her birthday and felt pretty guilty. She changed her mind three times as to what we were going to do. At first it was chuck e cheese and then it was color me mine and finally, on the morning of her party, she wanted to go swimming. We were supposed to go to the vets pool but they conveniently changed their hours for that week to 3pm instead of 1pm. So we improvised and had the kids play with water on the trampoline and eat popsicles and drumsticks. I let them pick out a toy at the dollar store before we got to our house and we had happy meals from mickeyD's for lunch.
Karly in charge of the hose! They all had turns spraying one another.
Karly with her friends. Notice how much taller she is and she's crouching down a bit behind them. She is going to be a big girl!
Silly faces!!
Good friends, Good times, Great memories!!

All I want for Christmas . . .

So it's only one front tooth but I think he'll lose the other by December and definately be singing that song for us all!! The toothfairy missed him the first night because he was watching TV until late, so he had to wait until the next day to get his dollar from the fairy lady. Kids, remember to get to bed on time when waiting for the toothfairy or you might miss her and have to wait. Kaleb learned his lesson!

Swimming at Grandmas in July

Brennon, Karly, Brittley, Jayden and Kaleb. They loved being together and just swimming around. Cousins are so much fun to be with. This trip was great because Kaleb figured out that he really does know how to swim. It was great to see him gaining a little confidence.
My fearless Tanner with his floaties and diaper cover. Tanner feels invincible in the pool with water wings. He jumps right in and goes where he pleases. It's hard because he does so even when he doesn't have the wings on and thinks he does. So of course we always have to save him from himself.
Tanners first time in the water. He liked it after he got used to the water temperature.
Gary had fun throwing the kids in the water and launching them in the air. I miss having a pool in the backyard. It was so fun and convenient!!

Beach Babies

Kaleb and Karly running from the waves. Karly remembered the previous year when she fell off the boogie board in a foot or less of water when a wave came, so she wasn't too interested in getting in too deep. Especially when Gary tried to get her on the board again. You would have thought someone was trying to steal her with the fit she was throwing.

Kaleb tried it out and liked it okay. Luckily for Gary, Brittley and Jayden were all over boogie boarding so he stayed out there with them helping them on the board.
Tanner and Brennon found this deep hole and kept jumping in it and yelling at the seagulls that would come by. Here he is eating a piece of watermelon, waiting for the next bird to fly by. When they came, he would roar like a dinosaur and everyone around laughed. If his roar wasn't successful, he would jump out of his fort and run after them.
Sweet little Evan slept under the awning the entire time we were there. I think he slept for close to three hours. What a sweetie. He is such an angel!
Got ya!! I got this great action shot of Gary boogie boarding. He had a blast at the beach. I'm trying to get him more excited about the beach in hopes that maybe one day we will move closer to one or at least enjoy more vacations where one is close by and included in the plans.

Watching fireworks!

Alex, Tanner, Avery, Karly, Kaleb and Jace! Best seat in the house!
Little fuzzy, but it is almost impossible keeping the camera steady for the extended flash for a night shot!
Cute sisters holding their cousin!
The three little munchkins- looks like they are up to something!
This is my Dad, also known as grandpa, holding Tanner!

Evan's Blessing

Grandpa Reid, Great Grandma Hope, Janili with Jaxon and me and Evan!
Daddy, grandpa and g-grandma with Evan
This was just so cute I had to throw it in as well. This was taken the morning of the blessing. My mom and my baby girl. What a cute picture! You can tell they are related! Plus, this dress was bought for Karly by grandma.

4th of July (I know it's september!)

I don't know what is in her hands, but those curls sure are cute! I had to wake her up to put curlers in.
Lauren, Preston and Tyler hangin out with all of us!
Cute little Tanner!
Kaleb trying to stay hydrated. ONe of the only waking moments I caught of him.
Decided to add one of me, unfortunately, not my best shot. But, I had to get Evan in here. MAybe if it wasn't so close up it would. . .nope, still wouldn't help.

I am such a slacker but I finally got my pictures uploaded and plan on posting a few throughout the week so not to overhaul! This was our 4th of July at the parade by my house. Kaleb had the flu and slept through the whole thing in the back of the truck and the rest of us sat on the parade route and enjoyed. Karly looks so cute! Aunt lolly came with Tyler and Preston and Aunt Allison was sitting with us with some of her family as well.
